BACK TO MEN'S SLOW PITCH
Men's “E” Program for 2017
THE “E” WESTERN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE HELD IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA OVER THE WEEKEND OF SEPTEMBER 14-17th, 2017. TEAMS CAN ALSO CHOOSE TO PLAY IN THE “E” WORLD EAST AT DISNEY, OR THE “E” WORLD NORTH IN STERLING HEIGHTS, MICHIGAN.
In 2017, USSSA Washington will hold the Men’s “E” State Championship Tournament at SERA and Sprinker Fields in TACOMA on August 12-13,2017. Because of a limited number of fields for this event, we will be hard pressed to take more than 64 teams into this tournament. If needed, we will make every effort to find more field space, to accommodate more teams. However, we strongly recommend that you pay your entry fee into this tournament as early as possible to ensure your spot. All teams that qualify for the State Championship, AND meet the listed minimum requirements (4 events) will be eligible to participate in this tournament.
All Washington teams that have qualified for, and want to participate in 2017 in any of the Men’s “E” World Championships must compete in the Washington “E” State Championships, or the Men's “D” State Championships. All teams that advance to the Men’s “E” World Championships must have participated in an “E” NIT during the 2017 season. All teams advancing to one of the Men’s “E” World Championships must compete in the “E” NW Championships at the Celebration Complex in Federal Way and Hogan Park@Russell Road complex in Kent. Teams from Idaho and Oregon will be allowed to participate in this tournament, with the approval of their respective State Director and the USSSA Washington Men’s Program Director. The entry fee for the State Championships is $350.00 and the NW Championships will be $340.00 for each tournament. Location for Men's "E" Worlds is to be determined.
The accepted roster for the Northwest Championships will be the roster that was used for each team’s respective State Tournament. Any exceptions to this must be approved by the Program Director or the Executive State Director of USSSA Washington at least (3) three days prior to the event in question. Watch the message board for updates pertaining to these events beginning in July.
All NIT's, "E” State and the Northwest Championships will be run using National rules. This means that we will be using the National Home Run rule, which is an inning ending out AND automatic out in the line-up offensive ejection for all unauthorized home runs. The State HR Rule is ZERO, with inning ending out.
Please see the Washington State Guidelines for further information.
